
Halo 4 First Week Stats Revealed
Nice I’m in the 6%. Legendary was easy as shit. No where close to the difficulty they made it out to be. Pitiful that more people played multiplayer rather than the campaign

Five years. Five long years. That’s how long it took us to get Harvest back.
At first it was going well…
Then setback after setback, loss after loss…
Made what was going to be a quick and decisive win, into five years of hell.
Of course that’s all Harvest is today, is hell down there. But now it’s ours again.
It sounds like a lot of people believe that a lot of Bungie employees jumped ship to 343i to work on the new Halo trilogy. Um no. It was a handful. Secondly, they already REPLACED Firefight, according to Anoj. All the things that will appear on the title screen have already been confirmed. Nothing about Firefight at all. Instead, Spartan Ops will take it’s place. And that’s all fine and dandy that 343 was created for solely Halo. That doesn’t mean they know what the direction of multiplayer should be. Hell Bungie made Reach the way they wanted Halo to be in the first place, and what happened? People hated it. And ok the things they’re adding work in other games. So does that mean you want Halo to be like them? I enjoy Halo because it ISN’T like other shooters. I don’t want a lot, or really anything from other shooters just copied into it. Make sense?
For one, the franchise is now in the hands of a completely different study, comprised of mostly fans. They could easily just make it a fan service and completely crew it up.
Another thing you forgot; how bad did Reach do? How many people traded it back in and just went back to Halo 3 because it was ‘too different’? And what is Halo 4’s multiplayer shaping up to do be? The TU sucked, completely unbalanced the gameplay when it first came out. And it still falls short in comparison with normal Reach settings. Everything was balanced and working great. Armor Lock had to be dulled to the point where it ‘flows’ with a run and gun shooter. God forbid you think of tactics on how to take out a player when he’s using something IN THE GAME to his advantage. And of course they had to take it out for 4 because of all the bitching it got on the forums because people complained rather than figured ways to counter it. After you realize a player is using it, combat him in a DIFFERENT way. Or is that too hard? Wait what does that sound like? Fan service to those too dumb to combat it
So a new armor ability is being added, Spartan points (which come from CoD), customizable loadouts (CoD) unlocking different guns and whatever else by leveling up (CoD), and joining in and out of games that already started (CoD, again). So I ask the people who think the multiplayer will be great; Doesn’t it sound too different already?
They want the basic feel to be the same. But now they want you to reallyyy feel like a Spartan 4. And Spartan points? Really? God damn you could’ve of come up with a better name? Sounds justttt like what CoD: Black Ops did. At least you rank up faster for playing better. If there’s prestige, I’m gonna go ballistic.
So you think customizable loadouts (again, CoD shit) will create different combinations with weapons and armor ability? Um no. Most of the people are going to use a BR with said simplistic armor ability. Unless, of course you could pick a fucking rocket launcher or sword. Or just keep spawning with a sniper. Sounds grand. Wonder how many people will actually stay in a game like that where the teams are stacked on one side as well. Thank god you have that ‘join in and out of games already started’ shit *rolls eyes*Sounds more casual than competitive, which the latter is what you want.
Seriously? No. People wanted NO armor abilites. And what do you? Remove armor lock, because of all the bitching and complaining on your forums, and then add a NEW one. Seeing through walls? Ok I suppose I can understand that.
So no beta. Saying we have to trust you on this one? No. I already don’t believe I’m going to like the multiplayer. And you don’t have a beta? I think it’s because that it’s gone in a different direction. And if people don’t like it, you still want to get as many pre-orders and sales of the game as possible.
And to the people who are saying “Oh you’re mad about the changes? I thought that’s why you like Halo so much. Cause it isn’t the same thing every time” Well you know what? There’s a such thing as BAD changes, and too many changes. You still support the changes, even if the changes are from a game we’re trying to differentiate from? I don’t want another CoD copy, especially not from my favorite series. Halo 1-3 added subtle changes that reallyyy didn’t change the gameplay. Reach did. And people didn’t really like that, even if I did. Same with the TU, it sucked, which shows what kind of direction they’re going in.
Don’t get me wrong, the maps look great. The armor abilities with those maps make it less fun I think. And yay the 3 shot pistol is back! Woopty fucking doo! It fires too fast and the idiots that play spam it with relatively no aim. Problem is that most of the shots are hitting their target. Last time I checked it still had bloom, and not that ZB shit. Sure close range of course they’re going to hit. But farther away? Uh uh. And it seems like if you hit them ANYWHERE with the first 2 bullets, they lose their shields. No. Headshots only. So now it’s either one of 2 things; 1. Use the magnum like everybody else and help you win or 2. Use power weapons. Not what I wanted to see Reach become


Beta<Reach
I much rather prefer the game where I can get a rampage and go 30 and 2 than a game where you only use 2/3 weapons at most, camp in a corner and have no chance of survival in a 1v2. (Keep in mind this was Elite Slayer AND I use Evade, not armor lock like I use in just about every other game type)
